ESPectre
Install ESPectre
Connect an ESP32 over USB to update, replace, or configure its ESPectre firmware. USB flashing requires desktop Chrome or Edge.
Install from your browser
The installer detects the ESP32 and any ESPectre firmware already on it. It can update the firmware and keep the device's settings, switch to another firmware type, or show a Matter device's pairing code.
Use Chrome or Edge and a USB data cable. The installer uses the USB port only while it is open.

The installer identifies the board and checks its current firmware.

Serial console
During installation, this console shows the installer's log. At other times, opening it shows the device's live serial output and takes over the port.
Set up your device
Enter the Wi-Fi network name and password. Credentials are sent directly to the connected board and are never stored by this site.
This device-specific code was read directly from the board over USB. Scan it with your Matter controller, or enter the manual code; the controller then connects the device to Wi-Fi.
